We really enjoyed this walking tour. It took about 2 hours 15 minutes or so with a rest stop and we saw quite a few impressive homes in the area. Tara was our guide, and she did a great job pointing out the interesting history behind a number of properties, including the homes of a few celebrities. The cemetery was fascinating, and we learned a lot about burial customs and even the origin of a number of popular sayings. Overall time well spent, we'd definitely recommend.

Our guide, Randy, was fantastic! He provided a wonderful overview of the history of the city and the relevance of the Garden District. Some in our group would not describe themselves as 'history buffs' and were expecting more about gardens They LOVED the tour and talked about it throughout the weekend. It is an EXCELLENT value and really enjoyable 2 hours. I am grateful we had Randy as our guide ... he is very knowledgeable, open to any questions and very charming.... he is an outstanding host for that beautiful city!

Our tour guide Randy made this a great tour. He had plenty of stories of current and previous owners, New Orleans and the history of the area. The houses are also gorgeous. The cemetery part was less interesting though Randy did do a great job with his stories. Marie Laveau's tomb is not here, nor Nicholas Cage's. Easy walk.

Tara was wonderful. She's a New Orleans native and had a great rapport with our group. She's an excellent listener, has a wonderful sense of humor, and knows her town really well. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, even though the weather was cold!

I am usually not a guided tour person, but this was our first trip to New Orleans and my friends talked me into it. I’m so glad they did!! Our tour guide was HILARIOUS and even though it was freezing cold out, he kept things moving and had the best stories. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed this tour. Tara was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Loved the great homes we saw as well as the stop in Lafayette Cemetery. Great mix of history and sightseeing with a much needed bathroom/drink break. Definitely recommend this trip but wear good shoes and be careful on the sidewalks!
