I didn't like the tour. The Tourgide was nice but it seemed like she has been a teacher for history before. She gave us way to much information. We were standing almost the whole time on the same spot and had to listen. I would have prefered to walk around the cemetery to see a little more... That's why I decided to leave the group. Maybe it was getting better after the cemetery

I can't remember our tour guide's name, but I believe she said she was a retired professor of anthropology. And boy , she was a absolute wealth of knowledge about virtually everything concerning the history of New Orleans, from its settlement, cultural diversity, the various gorgeous architectural displays , to the unique burial rituals. She even added a slight route detour to include viewing my favorite author's previous home, which made my day! This tour is an absolute must, especiallly if you are a history buff like my husband. A very enjoyable experience!

Our guide was well informed about the cemetery and the garden district. He personalized the info he shared and made it quite interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Just wanted to give Jane a shout out for this very informative. She was full of history and even threw in a ghost story for the kids in the group! Jane had lots to share and answered all additional questions. We really enjoyed seeing this end of town, which shouldn’t be missed.
