I had the honor of experiencing this cruise just recently with my daughter on a trip to New Orleans. The music was great, the food was excellent and the information provided as we cruised down the Mississippi River was superb. Will recommend to anyone. I will definitely go again.

We had a great time on the steamboat. We got to see a few things from the Mississippi River. Very relaxing and the drinks were great. We didn’t get the lunch due to the negative reviews on food tastes. The only problem was when we went to the bathroom in the dining hall that someone directed us to, we came out to find an employee who followed us all the way to the door as if we were criminals(highly uncomfortable).I’m guessing it was because we were the few of black folks on there lol. Either way, we still enjoyed ourselves.

Great ride and views. Engine Room is OPEN for you engineering geeks. Very “cool” to see. The band was great and the commentary was informative. We did not do the meal. There’s plenty of seating, no need to hurry up and queue up to score a seat.

What a great experience to be on the Mississippi River on the Paddlewheel/steamboat Natchez. It felt like such an authentically New Orleans thing to do. It’s also a great way to see New Orleans from a different perspective. There were an ample number of deck chairs to sit and enjoy the views. If traveling with young children, you may want to take noise-cancelling earphones, as the horn that sounds upon leaving port, re-entering, or passing another boat is very loud, jolting, and prolonged. The food was delicious, served buffet style so you could eat at your leisure. There was an inside dining area, bar, gift shop, and snack bar. I was very glad to have had this steamboat experience on the mighty Mississippi.

This is well-worth the cost. Go ahead and select the lunch option because the food was really good. Great bloody mary and jazz punch. Live music and great character!

4 Englishmen and Women enjoyed a great trip up and down the River! So pleased we didn't go for the food option as being up on deck in the sunshine suited us better! The great cocktails on board probably helped!

This was a blast, short enough to really get to see some exciting things but not take up the entire day. Staff was great and friendly, fun time.

Great trip and enjoyed learning from the narration. The beginning music was a little kitschy and the food was good but I would recommend just doing the snack bar and enjoying the outside ride longer. The bar had good drinks as did the rest of New Orleans.

Cold and not so great food for lunch trip. I know you cannot control the weather but more inside seating would help.
