A few stories about some of the history, not much in the sites department but access to some of the buildings nearby. Interesting as we toured with a real Cajun.
Interesting guide will describe the differences between creoles and americans...how they inhabited the city in the 18th and early 19th century. Also how the pirates got involved and helped win the War of 1812 later on at the battle of New Orleans. Fun, around 2hrs and includes a tour of Antoine's the oldest continuing restaurant not only in NOLA but the US....huge!
We had a great time on this tour and would highly recommend this activity. Our tour guide was great!
Glenn was our tour guide and boy does he know Nawlins!!!! The tour was very informative, we are great history buffs and Glenn surely has a of love history also! He really brought to life the Creoles, Americans and Pirates influence of this beautiful city!!!
Interesting.
