Enjoy a hassle-free trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as you tour these world-class attractions at your own pace with multilingual audio guides. For a premium experience choose the Reserve Line Ticket with Pedestal Access option, a feature available to only a limited number of visitors each day. Have access to the priority line and entrance to the Statues Pedestal on Liberty Island. Choose the Reserve Line Ticket without Pedestal Access option to gain access to the priority line without entrance to the pedestal. The Flexible Ticket option is ideal for last minute bookings. Please note that this option does not include access to the priority reserve line or to the pedestal.
Meet your onsite GetYourGuide Guest Relations Team in Castle Clinton, near the departure point for the Statue of Liberty Ferry. Once you have your ferry tickets make your way to the line to board the Statue of Liberty Ferry. Proceed to airport-style security before boarding the ferry. Enjoy a brief ferry ride to Liberty Island featuring ever more impressive views of Lady Liberty, the Manhattan Skyline, and New York Harbour.
Once on Liberty Island, pick up your multilingual audio guide for the Statue of Liberty. Take your time to discover the history and grandeur of the Statue of Liberty, visited by millions of people, a universal symbol for freedom. If you have chosen the Pedestal Access Ticket, you can also access the Statue of Liberty Pedestal where you climb the steps up onto the top of the pedestal where the interior offers views of the Statue's inner skeletal structure. You will then step outside to the observation deck and balcony for uniques views of both the Statue and New York.
After touring Liberty Island, take another short ferry ride to Ellis Island. Here you can pick up your audio guide for the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Ellis Island was once America’s busiest immigration station that operated for over 62 years and saw millions of people from around the world looking for a new beginning and a new life for their families in America. Once you have finished touring Ellis Island at your own pace, enjoy the ferry journey back to Battery Park where your journey started.
Know before you go
• The ticket price includes a booking and handling fee
• Please dress according to the weather. This experience is both indoors and outdoors and goes rain or shine
• You will go through a mandatory airport-grade security screening prior to boarding the ferry. All prohibited items will be confiscated and retained by the United States Park Police
• Large bags are not allowed on Liberty Island or Ellis Island. For those with the "Pedestal Access" Upgrade, backpacks, strollers, and large umbrellas are not permitted inside the Monument Pedestal
• Food (even unopened) and drinks (except water in clear plastic bottle) are not allowed inside the Statue of Liberty
• All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a responsible adult 25 years old or older
• Access is free for children aged 3 and under
• Flex tickets are not priority tickets, you will not be able to skip the queue so arrive as early as possible to avoid a long wait time in line
