About this activity
This is a private bike tour that can be done for groups between 2 and 6 people. All rides are guided by a licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide. The ride starts in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood (just west of midtown) where you will be fitted to a rental bike with a helmet, lock, water bottle, and snack-bag. Start time is flexible, but we recommend meeting no later than 12 noon to ensure you have enough time to enjoy the brewery.
The route of the ride heads directly to Central Park where your group can explore the park from the bicycle-friendly roadway that encircles the park. Our knowledgeable guide can show you any of the park's highlights you are interested in seeing as well as explain the history or features of the park to your group. We exit the park at the northern end and make our way to Randalls Island, which offers a number of car-free bike paths with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and up-close encounters with some of NYC's most iconic bridges. Take your time to explore the island by riding around as much as you like. Your guide can again provide you insight about anything of interest to your group.
You can opt for a lunch stop on Randalls Island, or push on to the Bronx Brewery and have lunch there. Either way, you'll get to ride on a fantastic bike path underneath the Hell Gate Bridge that takes you to the Bronx where the Bronx Brewery awaits you a short ride away. Head on inside and enjoy up to eight 5-ounce glasses of freshly brewed beer in one of the friendliest tasting rooms in NYC. When you are done, the bikes will be returned to the starting point for you, and your group can get back to Manhattan by a car service that is included in the price of the tour package.
The minimum distance for this bike ride is 8 miles, but it can be extended up to 12 miles if your group chooses to do extra riding in either Central Park or on Randalls Island.
