We had the most delightful tour with Michael in Central Park. Despite the rain we were still memorized by this beautiful space that has been created in the midst of crazy NYC. It is like stepping into another world. The Flora is gorgeous and vast, the statues are so beautifully designed and each telling its own story, the whole space is a treasure to explore. Michael's knowledge is excellent and he is a super friendly and fun guide for a tour through the park. I can highly recommend taking this tour.
We have just returned home from our trip of a lifetime in New York. One of the amazing highlights for us was our walking tour of Central Park which I reserved online at Viator before we left Australia. As it turned out on the day my husband I had a private tour with our guide Michael, who is a wealth of knowledge of everything Central Park. We explored many of points of interest during our 2 hour tour including the late great John Lennon's house and memorial in Strawberry Fields. We had a great time on the tour and enjoyed the wonderful history of Central Park which Michael shared with us. I thoroughly recommend doing the Central Park Walking Tour with Michael Hunt.
Michael gives a very thorough and detailed tour of the plants, trees, statues, features, and history of Central Park. He was very entertaining, and it was obvious that he has done some extensive homework on the background and details of the Park and surrounding area. We could have walked the park by ourselves, but we got so much more out of it by touring with Michael. I was so glad that Michael was available on the only afternoon that fit into our schedule while we were in NYC. I highly recommend booking a tour with Michael instead of going on your own.
Having never been within Central Park, I was so excited for this tour. It met all expectations and then some. Michael was very knowledgeable about the history of the park as well as the trees, plants, animals and rock throughout our walk. He was very attentive to each member of the tour, as it was an exceptionally warm morning. I highly recommend this tour and am very grateful to Michael for educating me on all that Central Park has to offer!
Highly recommend this tour even for those of you who have been to the park many times (as I have) without a guide. Michael is very knowledgeable on the history of the park and its builders and has a real love for the park which comes across in his tour. Very worthwhile.
