About this activity
Experience a bright and beautiful New York City skyline by night during a comfortable and unique New York City harbor cruise. This is truly one of the most spectacular ways to see NYC and our most romantic cruise! Though this cruise provides excellent sightseeing, it is not narrated, providing a more passive and romantic tourism experience.

Step aboard a decked-out 1920s inspired motor yacht. As you cozy up in the climate-controlled observation cabin to take in the twinkling lights of this famous skyline, enjoy a complimentary Drink. (Enjoy a complimentary beer, wine, champagne or soda on us. Cash bar available for additional drink purchases) Sit back and relax on a beautifully crafted boat as you cruise by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Governors Island, and pass under the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.

Light music is played over the sound system and this cruise provides excellent sightseeing of the city lights. Guests that are on this cruise who would like information about the sites are invited to ask our crew or captain for 1 on 1 narration. This specific cruise of ours is created for a more romantic and passive style of tourism.

The vessel travels south from Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River, passing the West Village and Tribeca portion of Hudson River Park. She then rounds Battery Park, heading up the East River to travel under the Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Manhattan Bridges. She then makes a wide pass through the New York City Harbor to grab a spectacular view of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Financial District and the complete NYC skyline before heading north on the Hudson River to return to Chelsea Piers.

1. Gin Rickey for May: This chill cocktail is made up of gin, lime juice, and seltzer. But in its earliest incarnation, the Rickey favored bourbon over gin.

2. Ward EightT for June: With its mix of rye whiskey, lemon juice, orange juice, and grenadine, this drink rose in popularity during prohibition because all the fruit flavors helped mask that harsh whiskey's bite.

3. Mary Pichford for July: Shaking up white rum, pineapple juice, and grenadine makes this fruity cocktail, which is named after the 1920s movie star who co-founded United Artists with D.W. Griffith, Charlie Chaplin, and her husband Douglas Fairbanks. Pickford is said to have favored this cocktail created for her on a trip to Cuba, where rum was far easier to come by than it was stateside.

4. Maritime for August: Putting a spin on Nautically themed cocktails this mix of Gin, Elderflower liquor, a squeeze of fresh lemon, seltzer and a sprig of lime is sure to quench your thirst. Perfect for sunset sipping!

5. Evening at sea, for September: Sparkling wine and Jamaican rum make for a compelling riff on the Negroni. Plus, its a quick finish once its batched. Elegant and warming yet lighter than a Negroni.

Absolutely safe. Along with your captain, there is a minimum of two crew members on every sail to make sure you feel comfortable and at home on the water. We are stocked with water, beverages, and life jackets should you feel you need one.

It is very rare for our guests to become seasick. While most people do not experience any sea sickness on these yachts, you may want to consider light medication if you normally take it for motion sickness. We cannot officially advise you to take any medication, however.

Our cruise will end at the same pier from which it departed. The aft-deck observatory of these yachts is a completely enclosed area with a roof, so in the event of rain, you will be covered.
