This was a fun and educational tour. As long as you are up for walking, it is a wonderful way to see how the melting pot of NYC began. At each stop, our tour guide Frank, had excellent photos of the area in the early 1900's. This had to be the best part of the tour. Viewing how a street looked back when immigrants arrived, made you feel as though you were there back then. The tour includes walking down many of the side streets in lower Manhattan. Most often if you walked through these streets, you would not realize the history of them. You learn about how the the people lived back in the early 1900's and what the tenement buildings were actually like. Great tour.
