Coney Island And Little Odessa Photography Tour

Yes, Coney Island is a public beach in New York City (on the Atlantic Ocean) with a boardwalk and an amusement park! It has a very colorful history in real life as well as in literature (The Great Gatsby) and film (Annie Hall and He's Got Game.) It is fabulous to visit and to photograph both in the summer when its crowded and in the winter as well. Little Odessa at Brighton Beach (which adjoins with Coney Island) is a wonderful Ukrainian/Russian neighborhood with lots of little shops and the main street is under an elevated train. We will tour both the beach and the surrounding neighborhoods.
In June, Coney Island hosts the annual Mermaid Parade and on July 4th is the annual hot dog eating contest. In the months November-April on Sundays is the Polar Bear Swim with their big celebration on January 1st. I do tours of these events. Reserve early as they get booked quickly in advance.
This is a private tour and the cost is $300 for a group up to 4 people. You can choose to be met at your hotel or meet in a designated location.
