Stop At: Battery Park, State Street and Battery Place, New York City, NY 10004

We will start our tour in the park and talk about New York's early history while over looking the very harbor that made it an ideal location for the Dutch to establish their New World trading post.

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Staten Island Ferry, 4 South Street, New York City, NY 10004

We will talk about the orange boat! Some interesting facts, and some hip-tips on when to ride and why.

Stop At: Bowling Green, Broadway & Whitehall Street, New York City, NY 10004

Here we will discuss the history of this famous square, talk about the NY customs house which is now the Museum of the American Indian. We will also have an opportunity to discuses the crazy history behind NYC's Charging Bull statue, as well as a few minutes to fight the crowd for a photo!

Stop At: New York Stock Exchange, 20 Broad St, New York City, NY 10005-2601

We will see the site where George Washington was sworn in as president at Federal Hall, right across from what is today the NYC Stock Exchange. There are many other historically significant sites at this location that we will discuss.

Stop At: Fraunces Tavern Museum, 54 Pearl St, New York City, NY 10004-4300

Take a few minutes to admire the historic Fraunces Tavern. The place where Washington famously had his retirement party after the revolutionary war. Little did he know, his work with the US government was just beginning. If you want we can stop in for a drink, or maybe some dollar oysters if it's the right time of day.

Stop At: Trinity Church, Broadway at Wall Street, New York City, NY 10006

This small church is home to remains of several famous and important American's including Alexander Hamilton, and Robert Fulton. We will explore the graveyard and the inside of the church (if open). We will also discuses this buildings turbulent history and it's significance to the revolution and the founders of our nation.

Stop At: One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton St, New York City, NY 10007-0089

We will walk around the World Trade Center site. This tour does not included admittance to any of the attractions at the site such as the museum or One World Trade. We will learn about the history of the location, the legacy for the city including the tragic events of September 11th 2001, and see the foot prints of the old towers that now stand as a memorial.
