Why You Shouldn’t Miss This

Lower Manhattan, also called Downtown Manhattan, is the central precinct of business and administration situated in the city of New York. Manhattan is a center of major historical importance. This area consists of the city partly built after the Dutch brought the island of Manhattan. Some buildings on Wall Street will remind you of the Gilded Age. There are quite a few Art Deco influences spread across the neighbourhood. The city is adept at drawing you into its nuances, making anyone feel right at home even though it might be the first time they are visiting the place.

Wall Street is a simple 8-block long street located in Lower Manhattan. The majority of financial services and markets of the entire United States are accessible at Wall Street, making it one of the most important places across the country. The movie - ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, starring Leonardo Dicaprio, was shot in one of the major buildings of Wall Street.

The 9/11 attack is by far one of the worst terrorist attacks on the United States. On September 11, 2001, hijacked planes crashed into the famous Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York. This destroyed a major portion of these buildings. In their place now stands a beautiful fountain, which is part of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The solemn museum is a symbol of powerful resilience.
