Leonor Fini: Theatre of Desire, 1930-1990 - The exhibition will immerse visitors in Leonor Fini’s life and career from the 1930s to the 1980s. Although Fini exhibited in major Surrealist surveys throughout the 1930s and 40s, and counted Max Ernst and Salvador Dalí as friends, she rejected the invitation to officially join the group, disavowing movement leader André Breton’s traditional view of woman as muse. 

PUNK LUST: Raw Provocation 1971-1985 - A survey looking at the way Punk culture used the language of sexuality–both visually and lyrically–to transgress and defy, whether in the service of political provocation, raw desire, or just to break through the stifling gender norms and social expectations that punks refused to let define them. 

STAG: The Illicit Origins of Pornographic Film - From the 1910s through the early ‘30s, stag films often interlaced their depictions of sex with humor and narrative plots, subverting stories and morals from folklore for the sake of satire and sometimes social commentary. 

OBJECTXXX: Selected Artifacts - Embedded with their own narratives, history and significance, objects are symbolic creations of various eras, belief systems and, at times, manifestations against societal taboos. While some of the objects presented in this exhibition are creations of fantasy and a desire to augment attraction and pleasure, others have medicalized origins, pop cultural resonance or represent personal legacies.
