Stop At: Tour America, New York City, NY 10019
Depart from The Row Hotel NYC
New York is a city of contrasts that has been called the “melting pot” of America. This tri-borough tour of Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx will show you just how diverse this city really is. There are ethnic communities of Greek, Italian, Hispanic, Middle-Eastern and Slavic ancestry throughout the city where native language, culture and cuisine is dominant.
Departing from Manhattan, go to the Bronx and stop at Yankee Stadium, home to America’s famous baseball team. Continue to the precinct of Fort Apache, and see work of local artists who use graffiti to make political and lifestyle statements.
Cross the Whitestone Bridge to Queens to see the beautiful homes of Malba on the East River. Stop for photos in Flushing Meadow Park, site of the 1964 World Fair, the US Open and a famous scene from Men in Black. Continue to Astoria, a Greek community where you'll stop for coffee and pastry at a local bakery.
Finally head to Brooklyn, a borough with over 2.5 million residents! Go to Williamsburg, one of New York’s up and coming neighborhoods with lots of trendy bars and restaurants and a symbol of the constantly changing area. Stop in a neighborhood that is home to one New York’s large Hasidic Jewish community that strives to maintain a traditional lifestyle in a constantly changing city.
End your tour back in Manhattan.
