About this activity
After departing from Pier 83 in Midtown, the cruise will stop at Battery Park, a leisurely walk from the National September 11 Museum, where you have timed admission. Inside the museum, you'll have unlimited time to browse the exhibits before rejoining your cruise. In addition to the 9/11 Museum, this exciting tour gets you close to such iconic sites as the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and Governors Island, just to name a few!

Your hop-on hop-off ticket is valid for one day, allowing you to design your own sightseeing itinerary for your trip to the Big Apple. Hop on and off as often as you want, and enjoy informative and amusing commentary as you go! The boats will give you up-close views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge many more New York City sights.

By traveling around the city on the cruise, you’ll beat the infamous New York traffic and enjoy easy access to hundreds of sites like the 9/11 Memorial Memorial, Chelsea Piers, the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, Times Square, DUMBO and Williamsburg. Boats depart regularly throughout the day from six stops (see Itinerary section below for stops) so you can plan your day around your sightseeing!

Really enjoyed using this hop on/ hop off boat way of getting around. Main plan was to go to 9/11 museum but found this unique way of getting around instead of hop on/ hop off bus ( done this a few times already). Make sure you take your copy of your receipt to the water taxi booth (yellow sign that’s easy to miss) at pier 83 to receive your water taxi ticket. We select a time for 9/11 museum that was 2 hours later so we could do a full boat trip then head to Battery Park to 9/11 area. Then used boat to get back near hotel.

I am a New Yorker visiting from the West Coast where I now live. What I liked most of all was being on the spectacular Hudson looking at how the Jersey shore is rivaling Manhattan's. It puts you right off without the subway and a long walk to get to the Museum. Easy Peasy

Every citizen and or visitors to NYC should see the 911 memorial. It is tastefully done but still tells you the whole story of what happened. Going down and down underground set the tone for the whole experience.

9/11 museum portion of tour which I paid for was not available until late in the day even though I was there to check in for boat trip before first boat of the day. It was deceptive of Viator to sell this to me as being available.

We were lucky with a warm, beautiful day in November. The ferry was comfortable and spacious. 9/11 Museum is a definite must see but very emotional.

This tour was not worth the money charged by viator. The boat trip was okay, but you could hardly hear the tour guide over the voices of the tourists, as he described the scenes. The computers were down when we arrived at the pier, so we had to pay for our 911 Museum tickets twice. Stop 3 was not available.
