Niagara Falls Day Trip from New York by Air

About this activity
After being collected from your Midtown Manhattan hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Upstate New York (approximately one hour). On arrival, you will be met by your guide for the day to board the bus to Niagara Falls.

After lunch, it's time to board the famous "Maid of the Mist" boat for an up-close Niagara Falls experience. The 30-minute cruise takes you through the foaming waters to the base of the American Falls and the basin of Horseshoe Falls. You will get close enough to the falls to feel their cool mist on your skin.

The "Maid of the Mist" operates only in the warmer months, from May to October, so if you are traveling from November to April you will visit the Journey Behind the Falls instead. An elevator takes you behind the great sheet of Niagara Falls for a thunderous up-close view of Niagara Falls.

This tour is likely to sell out! The Niagara Falls Day Trip from New York by Air regularly sells out weeks in advance, so book ahead to avoid disappointment!

All worked out very well with on time pick up in a comfortable car. Flight was good, despite the delay on return to JFK (but not the tour operator fault). The Falls were amazing and I recommend this trip to all.

I was a little dubious about this trip after reading some of the reviews but I couldn't have been more wrong. It was a fantastic day - very well organised and worth every penny. It was an early start - 5am hotel pick up for transfer to JFK. Escorted to the terminal and provided with boarding passes and gate details for flight to Buffalo. Met on arrival at Buffalo airport by our guide Eduardo and onto the bus for transfer to Niagara. Got to see the Falls from every angle, on both American and Canadian sides with plenty of time at each stop. Very nice buffet lunch at the Sheraton hotel. Transfer back to Buffalo for flight back to NY and then picked up by bus for trip back to our hotel. Very professional staff throughout. Highlight of the trip was the boat trip on Maid of the Mist - unforgettable experience!

What a great spectacle the falls are but be aware this is an extremely long day. We were collected at 4am for a 6.30am flight to Buffalo. Unfortunately that day our Jet Blue flight was delayed 2 hrs so our time in the Niagra area was shortened. The ride on the "Maid of the Mist" is exceptional and not to be missed. We were then scheduled to go to the Canadian side of the falls for lunch and further viewing. There were huge queues at the Canadian border and it took over an hour to get to immigration control. In effect we went to Canada for 1 hr then had to return to the American side as we couldnt be late for our 5pm flight back to New York. We did spend an hour on Goat Island where you can view the falls but between flight delays and hold ups at the border there was more sitting and waiting than viewing. Disappointing but not the companies fault at all.

A truly memorable trip fully professional and well organised from start to finish. The lunch was tasty and plentiful. Plenty of time for photo opportunities. Would fully recommend this trip. Safe to say my husband had a truly memorable birthday. The whole trip ran so smoothly from early pick up at 3.30 am to our pick up at Buffalo airport to our flights and pick up from JFK to return to our hotel. Our flight home was 3pm so got back to our hotel by 5pm. Early enough to enjoy our evening. Thanks to our guide and driver Martha

This was breathtaking ......on one of the coldest days Niagara Falls had seen for some time, the falls were frozen when we visited in December winter The tour was very well arranged when you consider catching planes and buses were required to get us to the falls and back again It was a long day, our hotel pick up was 5:45am and we were back at the hotel at about 9:00pm, but well worth it

This was breathtaking...we visited Niagara Falls on one of the coldest days it has seen for some time. The tour was arranged very very well, when you consider the transport involved planes and buses, and hotels etc. Our day started at 5:45am and we got back to the hotel that night at about 9:00pm, so a very long day but very worth it. This is just one of those things that you just HAVE to do.
