We were only in NYC for a weekend, so this was a great way to get an introduction to the Met. Mark was a charming and knowledgeable guide. His enthusiasm for the art and architecture was contagious.
The Met is so overwhelming that we thought a 2 1/2 hour tour to distill it down was the way to tackle it since we only had 1/2 day. Jeff was awesome! He hit the highlights. We were able to to tailor it to our particular interests but he also hit on some of the prized pieces and gave many back stories associated with the acquisition of some of the pieces. Great fun!
