About this activity
Although Zucchini is available year round, the Spring and Summer months have an abundance here in the Northeast!
Using a spiralizer, we will learn how to create “zoodle noodles!" and show the many dishes they can be used in, both raw and cooked.
We will also prepare 2 raw sauces, both vegan and bursting with nutrient dense ingredients. This low calorie, high energy food choice is one you are sure to start eating more of. There is no substitute for the nutrients we get from plants - come learn how to add more rainbow food into your life! YUM!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
Diane is a Certified Nutritional Health Counselor and Natural Food Chef who counsels clients and students on their journey to vibrant health. Her expertise lies in empowering people to find the connection between the foods we eat and our overall health and well being. She specializes in experimenting with everyday foods to create vegan recipes, writing her first cookbook in 2013.
