Onetrip Island Adventure

Your personal Onetrip guide will pick you up at your accommodation early in the morning. First stop? A delicious Vietnamese breakfast to wake you up, the same way locals do.

Once you’ve gained your energy, the adventure continues as your guide drives you along the coastal road with breathtaking views of mountains and sea on both sides. We will even pass a mango forest and if it is the right season, you can taste one - fresh out of the tree!

Then, after a quick traditional coffee, we will head over to the first proper stop on the itinerary: a handicraft village in Khanh Hoa where you will learn to weave basket frames. These skills have been passed on for generations, so you will be leaving here with a secret.

Once you become a master weaver, we will head off to a tranquil pagoda and observe the local rituals. You can even get your fortune told by one of the monks - perhaps great things are coming your way. Like sugar cane juice or a fresh coconut! Which is our next quick break, since you’ll need to cool off from the hot sun. After this, it’s time to get on the boat.

The soft waves and the fresh breeze will be extremely welcome as we tour around on the boat. For lunch, we will be stopping at a floating fishing farm. This is where the fishermen raise fish, prawns, etc., for eating. You can either choose to have your lunch here with the locals, or we can get it packed up and set up on the boat where we can enjoy a sunny picnic and a swim. But that’s not all.

We’ve got snorkeling gear ready for you to go underwater and explore the diverse aquatic life. If you are able to remain still underwater, you’ll get a couple fish massages, completely free of charge.

To top off the adventure, you’ll be getting on a banana boat pulled by a canoe to get to your next boat - the iconic Vietnamese basket boat. Learning to paddle this is gonna be a dizzying adventure! Don’t worry, we will capture plenty of pictures for you as you try to keep your balance!

With all this behind us, and the sun setting at the horizon, it’s time to head back. We will finish your trip and this day full of unique experiences at about 6:00 PM when we bring you back home.
