About this activity
You will be picked up at your Nha Trang accommodation by your private guide to begin your tour with a visit to the Oceanographic Institute of Vietnam in Cau Da. Founded in 1922, this museum has contributed significantly to the conservation of species in the East Sea. Its collection of about 20,000 specimens and living creatures is the largest in Southeast Asia.
Afterward, head to Stone Church, dating from 1928 to 1933 and considered the seat of the Catholic diocese of Khanh Hoa province, followed by a visit to Chong Promontory before enjoying a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, check out Po Nagar Cham Towers, a temple complex built by the Cham civilization between the 7th and 12th centuries to honor the Mother of Cham Kingdom. Today, this site is a famous pilgrimage location. Later in the afternoon, you have time to do some souvenir shopping at Dam Market, one of the main markets of Nha Trang. Your tour ends in the early evening.

I wish our tour guide would've recommend us mostly me on what to wear or bring. Although my husband was able to go into the Buddhist temple, I was not. I had on shorts and a tank top I was not able to enter the Buddhist temple. It really sucked because if I had known I would've brought a sarong and light cardigan to cover up. The tour could've been better if our guide would've hung out with us more at the market and explained about the different types of food/snacks we were seeing. We had a private tour so it wasn't like anyone was waiting on us. Plus we were ahead of schedule by 2 hours. We told him that we didn't care too much about the souvenir shops because we experienced all that already. So we only spent 30 min there and off we went to have lunch. Before our lunch came we had to fill out a survey, rating the tour and then hand it back to him. Of course we were going to say good things. He was going to read it right after anyway. It's not like our tour or tour guide was all bad. But after coming from Ho Chi Minh City doing the Saigon Riders Tour, Culture Day Tour was just ok to us. Could've been better.
