Your all-day tour tour departs at 8:30 AM from your Niagara Falls Hotel in an air conditioned Wi-Fi equipped bus with chargers for Android, Blackberry and iPhone. I would recommend this tour. I loved the plane ride and the maid of the mist Hornblower boat ride and the wine tasting. The only thing I would comment on is the trip to Niagara-on-the-lake. In the description it sounded as if we were going to be taken on a walking tour and learn of the history of the small town. We were instead dropped off at a restaurant not of our choosing and told we would be picked up in 2 hours. We weren't told anything about the history of the town and spent half of the time in a restaurant waiting for our food. If a tour was included in the price of our ticket, we did not get one. I know that there are tours, because I saw some people on one the next day when we went back to the village on our own. It just seems like the description of the Niagara-on-the-lake part of the full day tour should be better described. If no walking tour is included then a drive through the town describing the history and various restaurants where we could eat and a explain that we are on our own to shop and eat would be better. As it was we rushed to eat our expensive lunch and then scooted to the shops to have a look and then had to rush back to meet the bus and it was not there on time. We went back there on our own the next day.
My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our trip to Niagara! Viator gave us everything we wanted and more. Ian Goodwin put together a package that included everything from the helicopter ride, maid of the mist tour, a winery tasting and tour and a lovely lunch at Skylon Tower. John our guide was fabulous and went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for any more. I would highly recommend Viator and of course can’t say enough positive about John.
