Private Tour: Craft Breweries and Beer Tastings in Niagara Region

What’s all the fuss about Ontario craft beer? Well, it's produced by independent brewers, it's fresh and made from the best ingredients, and it tastes great. If you haven’t tried Ontario craft beer, it's time you did. There is no place better than Niagara to go on a micro brewery/craft beer pub crawl. This tour is unique and takes beer lovers around Niagara Falls & Niagara-on-the-Lake tasting exciting craft beers. Your guide will pick you and your group up and keep you fully occupied for 5-6 hours visiting local craft breweries and pubs. Find out how great beer is made. Sample everything you like, or think you might like. We pick up at any Hotel, B&B, AirBnB or private address in Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake Canada or Niagara Falls/Buffalo New York.

Stop in for a flight at the brand-new Niagara Falls Brewing Company on Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls’ “Hill of Fun”. Then drive leisurely along the beautiful, scenic Niagara Parkway to the Old Town of Niagara-On-The Lake, often called the loveliest town in Ontario. Here, visit the Exchange Brewery on Queen Street, a new, premium craft brewery/tasting room and sample their wares. Their take on traditional beers is unique.

A short walk down the Main Street of the village (you can shop and or snack as you go) will bring you to either the historic, haunted, Olde Angel Inn or the Famous Irish Harp Pub depending on your preference or which direction you head. Neither property is technically a brewery, but both are distinctive venues featuring fine international beers, great food and often live entertainment. You can quaff an Old Speckled Hen here or perhaps a Two-Fisted Stout, a Harp Lager, a Smithwick’s, a Caffrey’s or Kilkenny’s.

Afterwards, your guide will take you to Virgil, Ontario, for a taste of “Barn Raiser Country Ale”, Oast House Brewers finest. Enjoy live entertainment or a snack on their massive outdoor patio. Next stop is at the quaintest, prettiest, little country church you have ever seen, of course, it has been well converted into the Silversmith Brewing Company or possibly go back to school, beer school that is, again another brewery, there is nothing quite like the Honeymoon Peach Radler at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery. It’s all up to you.

This tour involves a lot of brew, you can add or substitute as you wish. Visit a winery or two, a distillery, a cidery or the chocolate FX Factory. Our tours are ultimately all about you. Taste whatever you wish or you think you might enjoy.
