Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Villa Kérylos is located between Nice and Monaco in the magnificent bay of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and stand in front of the monumental cliffs of Eze. Built between 1902 and 1908, Théodore Reinach, an archaeologist and French statesman, realized his dream since he was very fascinated by Greek civilisation. He collaborated fully with the architect Emmanuel Pontremoli, who was also passionate about this project.
From the elegant furniture to the refined décor, Kérylos is fully furnished and decorated, using traditional methods to create unique fabrics, frescoes and mosaics, offering to visitors the recreation of the sophisticated way of life of Greek civilisation. Surrounded by a charming coastal garden, you will admire splendid views of the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula with its magnificent houses and be amazed by the selection of Greek vegetation: olive trees and vines, pomegranate trees, carob trees, acanthus and myrtle, rosebay and iris, pines and cypresses, palms and papyrus...
