Description

The Lobster Pot Seafood Restaurant is a family owned business. Est. October 2001. It was opened by husband and wife, Wat and Pensri Pongsawang. The building itself is also owned by the family which originally was the Sala Thai Restaurant (Nottinghams 1st Thai restaurant 1989). Wat and Pensri both took their culinary experience from being Head Chefs at The Sala Thai and Loch Fyne Restaurant for many years and decided to start their own venture. The Lobster Pot has been awarded 4 AA Rosette Awards for culinary excellence since opening in 2001 for dishes such as, Scallops pan fried in garlic butter and balsamic vinegar, Baked whole Seabass in a oyster sauce with fresh ginger, Wat's special king prawn fried rice, and of course the grilled Lobster in garlic butter.
