The day starts with a convenient pick up right from your hotel so you can visit the Nyaung Oo Market. Under the watchful eye of your guide, you’ll be able to select the right ingredients in the market as you learn about what makes Burmese cooking stand out. After you’ve selected your ingredients, you will learn to cook up a storm at a traditional cooking class led by a local chef. Each day has a different selection of dishes and courses that you will learn to make, from appetizer to dessert. You’ll particularly enjoy working on vegetable tempura and a wide assortment of curries, which are characteristic to Burmese cuisine. Afterwards, relax over lunch as you dine on your creations, and even take some home to share with fellow travelers. At the end of the experience, you’ll be dropped off safely right at your hotel.
