Mokolii Island (Chinamans Hat) Kayaking and Hiking Tour

Itinerary

The Chinamans Hat Kayaking/Hiking experience starts near Kualoa Regional Park on Windward Oahu with parking readily available. After a safety briefing and some kayaking 101 instruction we will begin the 1 mile paddle to scenic Mokolii Island (Chinamans Hat). On the voyage to the island in the gorgeous turquoise waters we will have the chance to see Honu (Green Sea Turtles), the beautiful scenery of the Koolau Mountains and Kaneohe Bay. Once we land on the hat we will go on a small nature hike where you will be introduced to some of the plants and animals on this protected island. For those of you who are able and willing we can then hike/climb to the top of the island to experience one of the most amazing 360 degree panoramic views on Oahu. After the hike, we return to the kayaks where you can swim or wade or just prepare for the 1 mile paddle back to Oahu. This will be a 2-3 hour experience and I will provide all equipment, safety gear, water and snacks (granola bars) to make sure everyone stays safe, hydrated and maintains high energy levels for this experience.
