This was one of the best tours I've ever done and I now have some brilliant photos that I have hanging up in my home. We had Mac as our tour guide who was very proficient with the iPhone and showed me a number of tricks and tips to give great photos. The beaches were beautiful during the 'golden hour' before sunrise and provided a wonderful opportunity for excellent photos. I also used my 'point and shoot' camera which Mac was also able to assist with.

It exceeded my expectations. Guide Alex, was knowledgable, articulate, personable and highly entertaining. He works hard, respects and truly desires to become one with the culture and history of Hawaii. He offered a lot of great photo/camera tips. Made me feel great that I decide at the last minute to pack my bulky Nikon D200. I felt like a photographer. Not just out there to get the point n' shoot selfies. Just when I thought I'd had my fill of Oahu this being my 7th visit, I discovered new things and new perspectives on things previously visited. The photos captured are stunning and gratifying. Some typical tourist compositions. But more so, great off the beaten trail, shots that pop. So many wonderful memories. Just a few hours into the tour, I was thinking, if the tour ended now, I'd leave immensely satisfied. Fortunately, the intense photo ops kept coming throughout the 10-hour tour.

Excellent guide/driver. He was familiar with each of the 8 different cameras people on the van were carrying and was able to provide individual guidance. I learned more about my camera in that one day than I had in the previous year that I'd owned it. Made numerous stops to shoot pictures and he was available to help whenever needed. Great group on the tour and a very good day. Pickups in the am could have been staggered better was up very early to meet the van at the appointed time and it didn't arrive until considerably later. Scheduler should have assigned different pickup times based on the hotels it was stopping at.

A all around, wonderful day! Great way to see the island. Alex was a great guide. This tour was the highlight of our vacation. I have some beautiful photos from this tour that I will treasure forever. Thank you Alex for friendliness and great stories and island info along the way. Awesome sunrise and help from Alex on some different camera setting things I didn't even know my camera would do made for some stunning photos. We stopped at many secluded locations and even stopped for breakfast at a local shop with a yummy breakfast burrito. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Very enjoyable. Much better than just touring the island. Photographing at dawn on the beach was a great experience. We learnt a lot about how to better use our cameras.
