Sea Life Park Hawaii Admission and Underwater Sea Lion or Shark Swim

Make your way to Sea Life Park Hawaii, located just 15 miles (24 km) from Waikiki. Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your reserved activity — either a shark swim or sea lion swim — that you'll select when booking. Each program lasts about 45 minutes, including an orientation and up to 30 minutes in the water. Changing facilities are available before and after your swim. Option 1: Shark swim
Under the direct supervision of an experienced trainer, venture into into a 300,000-gallon tank of water, with approximatey 10 sharks, including up to four different species native to Hawaii. Provided with specialized equipment for easy breathing underwater, you’re immersed for 20 to 30 minutes with some of the most misunderstood predators on Earth.
Option 2: Sea lion swim
Under the supervision of staff, take advantage of the unique opportunity to swim in the same water as a sea lion in an educational atmosphere. During your 30 minutes in the water, learn from a sea lion trainer how to communicate with the sea lion using hand signals. Photos are available for purchase.
