About this activity

After being picked up at the hotel or cruise ship port in Ocho Rios the guest will enjoy a very informative 10 minutes drive in a nice air conditioned van on the way to the the first attraction which is the Konoko Falls and Garden. Upon arrival a guide will be assigned to take you on the hour long tour. During the tour the guide will provide educational information about the many and varied species of plants. In addition to the garden there is also a wide range of birds and a few other animals and also a beautiful waterfall that the guests can also enjoy.

After the Botanical garden tour the guests will be driven for approximately 30 minutes to the Sun Valley Plantation. On the way your driver/guide will share a lot of information about the history and culture of the island. Upon arrival at the plantation the guests will be served juices made from fruits grown on the plantation before moving on to the guided tour. During the tour which takes approximately an hour and 30 minutes the guests will learn about all the exotic fruits and plants on the island while sampling some fruits along the way.

At the end of the tour the guest will also be served lunch which is also prepared from food grown on the plantation and form a part of Jamaica's national dish.

At the end of this tour the guests will be driven back to their hotel or cruise ship port.
