Vis – Military tour

The beautiful island of Vis served as the home of a large military base until 1995. We will explore the labyrinth of underground tunnels, the remains of cannons and the abandoned warehouses left on this island. After a tour of the missile base Stupice, we will drive to the military tunnel ARK Vela Glava. We will take a tour of the tunnel and then travel to the highest point of the island of Vis, the peak of Hum 587. We will then see the well-known Tito's Cave and learn bout the significant historical events that occurred here.
