This mountain is considered one of the oldest sacred places in Japan, with history of more than 1,300 years as the place to practice mountain asceticism.

Even now, hundreds of mountain ascetics visit Inunakisan Mountain for spiritual awakening from all over Japan.

You might find them standing under the waterfall for their purification.

There are 48 large and small waterfalls in Inunakisan Mountain. On your way to the main temple, Shipporyuji-temple, you will find breath-taking scenery of waterfalls.

Walking through the valley, find things solemn, mysterious, or things you have never seen before.

Inunakisan was selected as one of Top 100 Greenery sites in Osaka Prefecture for its natural setting, boasting very tall cedar trees.

9:50 Meet at Nankai Railway Izumisano Station east exit

Buy your lunch at a convenience store. (Lunch fee is not included)

10:10 Get on Nankai Bus with a guide.（Bus fare is included）

10:50 Start on Inunakisan hiking

12:20 Lunch in the riverside (only on fine days)

Lunch at all weather type place around the statue of God of Fire (on rainy days)

14:50 Get on Nankai bus.

15:30 Arrive at Nankai Railway Izumisano Station
