We will also take a walk around Dotonbori area which is the most popular tourist spot in Osaka. Since there are not so many people in the early morning, you can take pictures with funny poses in front of the very famous signboard ‘The Glico Man’.

You can enjoy plenty of colorful signs in Shinsekai. Iconic Tsutenkaku Tower, beloved by Osaka people, and the surrounding area full of restaurants are worth visiting. There are a lot of weird baby-like statues shining in gold in front of shops or as signboards. You don’t see these statues outside of Osaka. Find out what kind of ritual is said to bring you good luck.

One of the oldest temples in Japan is Shitennoji. Since its establishment in 593, it has been a spiritual home for the people of Osaka. Let's take a leisurely walk through the quiet premises. In the pond in the precincts lots of creatures can be seen. They increased so much because Buddhism forbids the killing of living things.

It’s a must-see when you visit Osaka. While walking through this very large site you can try to imagine how a samurai general might have planned to attack this well-built castle.
