About this activity
This tour begins at your hotel or accommodation then immediately heads to the Osaka Castle. The Osaka Castle was the base of Hideyoshi Toyotomi’s unification in 1583.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi started construction of the castle on the site of the Ishiyama Honganji. The castle fell in 1615 during the great Summer Battle of Osaka, but was used later by the Tokugawa Shogunate until the castle tower burned down in a lightning strike. The current castle tower was rebuilt in 1931 and is the third generation. The castle interior is now a historical museum, housing valuable materials and a diorama. On the outside, you can enjoy the Osaka Castle from various angles and appreciate its magnificent stone walls, architectural features, the vast moat, and many other points of interest around the castle.

After visiting the Osaka Castle, you will go to the "Minami Osaka (Namba)" by train and explore this vibrant part of the city. Afterwards, you will have lunch at the "BULLS," where you can enjoy a sukiyaki lunch made with Halal-certified beef.

After lunch, you will enjoy taking a stroll in part of Osaka’s “kitchen," the Kuromon Market. The fresh food market has a history of over 100 years, with about 180 stores selling fish, fruit, and more in the same marketplace. There is a big bustle every day as "Osaka’s Kitchen" flaunts its treasure trove of fresh ingredients.

After Kuromon market, you will move onto Dotonbori. After stopping at Osaka’s most famous photo spot, you will be taken further downtown to Osaka’s Shinsaibashi shopping street, which runs from Dotonbori. You will have time for a bit of shopping here too.

Following Shinsaibashi, you will move on to the "Kita" (Umeda) area by subway. The first stop is the "Umeda Sky Building." British Times magazine includes this building in their “20 of the World's Leading Buildings." The interesting architecture is 170m in height and stretches all the way up to the "Floating Garden Observatory," where you can appreciate vast views over the city of Osaka and beyond, all the way to Awaji Island. This observatory, which has both inside and outside viewing areas, is a superlative experience.

At the end of the tour, you’ll go to "Osaka Masjid," where you can worship. With a guide who knows Osaka and caters to Muslim visitors, you are sure to have a very pleasant day exploring this great city.
