Pass By: Oslo Fjord, Oslo Norway

Oslo is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord (Oslofjorden in Norwegian) and is surrounded by forested hills. It’s a stunning city, and the best way to appreciate its beauty is on a relaxing sightseeing cruise.

On this two-hour tour, discover the scenery from a sightseeing boat. You’ll sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles. We will pass the Opera House in Oslo, housing The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet ensemble. The spot has been named Kirsten Flagstads place 1 after the opera's first director Kirsten Flagstad place 1 after the opera's first director Kirsten Flagstad. It was designed by the architectural firm Snøhetta AS, which won an architectural competition in 2000.

A choice of seven departure times gives you excellent flexibility and allows you to easily fit this tour into your Oslo vacation.

I loved this cruise; the sights and the whole feeling of it is just so lovely. I booked with Viator because of their cancellation policy and it was so easy, including the instructions for the cruise. Definitely worth the price!

Conveniently located. Efficient operation. Comfortable. Great views of Oslo from the water as well as the lovely homes and scenery surrounding the Oslo Fijord. A very nice way to spend and evening is Oslo.

My wife and I enjoyed this trip very much across the peaceful waters of the Oslo fjord. There was even a service bar on the boat with beverages for purchase.

It was great to see Oslo from the water and get a little history of the city. The boat ride was very pleasant and calming. It was quite chilly once we got going, but they had warm blankets to keep you warm.

It should be great adventure, unfortunately the weather was bad during our cruise. It was raining heavily so we could not maximize our leisure trip in Oslo Fjord.

It was a gorgeous day and the cruise was delightful. I couldn't hear the commentary if I was on the front deck so that was a small issue, but I was very happy just watching the scenery go by. It was very cold so the bar with hot drinks was an excellent addition. It would have been lovely to have a complimentary glass of glogg but as the tour was not that expensive it didn't detract from the experience. Would happily go again.

Worth the time and for sure to get a nice ride around Oslo Fjord/Bay. The narration was good and the fresh air enjoyable.

Oslo fjord is undramatic compared with the fjords seen in the cruise ship brochures - don't expect to sail between towering cliffs! Once you get beyond Oslo harbour the points of interest are mainly the many holiday homes built on the various islands. The boat itself was fine, but all the seats were enclosed - there was no deck to wander around. Overall we felt that, at 2 hours, it was a bit too long.

This was a good cruise with limited time. Saw 2 hrs of the coastline waterways. Interesting info, guide was terrific. Started out in the rain but boat is enclosed so not a problem. Mini Fjords but a taste for sure. Would recommend this if you can't get to Bergen

Plenty of information provided by our guide. The cruise was another of Oslo from the Fjord with views of many small islands in the fjord.
