Beginner's Rock Climbing Class in Joshua Tree National Park

Upon your arrival to the meeting point, an instructor be more than happy to greet you and get started! You will first go over the basics of rock climbing safety, including instruction provided by your adviser. They will also go over how each piece of equipment provided functions. Afterwards, learn about the fundamental knots used in rock climbing. This goes hand-in-hand with learning how to belay, which is known as the method of securing a running rope around a rock.

One of the most important skills you will go over is communication and vocabulary. When you rock climb with others, this makes it easier for you to relay important information. You will get plenty of climbing time to practice your beginner to intermediate movements! This activity will send you off with a feeling of accomplishment and adventure.
