Stop At: San Andreas Fault, Palm Desert, Greater Palm Springs, CA

We go to the 3rd largest Oasis in the world where you will walk over a bridge that straddles the San Andreas Fault. This location is like a scene taken in Hawaii leaving the guests bewildered that they are actually in a desert. Here thousands of iconic Palm Trees grow out of the water gurgling out of the fault.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Joshua Tree National Park, 64080 Quail Springs Road National Park Entrance, Joshua Tree, CA 92252

Our shuttle van will take you to the city of Joshua Tree where we trade for our H-1 Military Hummer to complete your adventure. We climb to the top of a breathtaking overlook called Eureka Peak that will give you a stunning view of the valley below and a view that stretches all the way to Mexico.

Duration: 30 minutes

Fun back roads tour of Joshua Tree National Park -- it doesn't cover the main tourist area but brings you to the back roads which is even more fun. Also stopped by the Oasis.

I would give it one star but the tour guide Patrick was very good. We were in an army style hummer with long bench seats in the back. I felt like a soldier being carted off to the war front. Very uncomfortable and not what we were expecting. The brochures all showed a normal hummer with regular seats. My legs have bruises and the opportunity to take pictures were few because we were holding on to the seats or to the blankets that were keeping us from freezing.

Jeff was a fabulous guide. He was able to spot big horn sheep, jack rabbits, and plenty other wildlife for us. His geographical and historical knowledge of the area made him a great travel companion. We combined our tour with some tennis watching at Indian Wells and Jeff was able to accommodate our itinerary perfectly. The tour we picked was great because it covered the San Andreas fault, Joshua tree national park, and we found it all inclusive.our teenagers enjoyed it a lot!!! So that pretty much says a lot!!! I think it was a great tour!!

My son and I were taken on our excursion by Pop, who has a vast knowledge for the area and subject matter. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and all that he and the excursion had to offer. It was a great experience...one that we will never forget! Thanks Pop!!!
