Taxi Boat to Watch the Teahupoo Waves

The district of Teahupoo and its marina is world known thanks to its famous reef break and it is the location for the Billabong Pro Tahiti, the world-famous international surfing contest which takes place here once a year.

Starting at the marina of Teahupoo, board your taxi boat and after a 2 minutes ride, your experienced captain will drive you the closest to the wave. From the channel, the safety zone, you will be a few meters the surfers where you you can really feel the "mana" of the place.
