Begin your tour with a visit to a pottery workshop in Yeroskipou village, where you will learn about this ancient traditional craft and maybe get to try it yourself. Continue to the village square, where you can admire the 5-domed church of St Pareskevi.Before continuing to the next village, see how the local delights, called “loukoumia”, are produced.In the village of Letymbou you will visit Sophia’s traditional house, where you can see how the locals live. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style and the bakers are dressed in traditional outfits. Learn how the local bread and halloumi cheese are made, and enjoy a traditional breakfast prepared by Sophia.Next, visit the Saint Neophytos monastery and the “Enkleistra”, an enclosure that was carved out of the mountain in the 12th century, and contains some of the finest Byzantine frescoes.Last stop of the tour is at a local winery where you will learn about wine production and taste different wines.
