Sailing Tour Paracas and Ballestas Islands
5 h
About this activity
Make your way to the port of Paracas at 9am and board a boat bound for the Ballestas Islands; a beautiful natural reserve known as the "Galapagos of Peru." Enjoy a unique experience as you observe plenty of native wildlife from the relaxing deck of a sailboat, with plenty of breaks to take photos of the pelicans, penguins, sea lions, and otters that call the islands their home.
On your way back to port, sail by an ancient mystery known as "The Chandelier," a pre-Inca geoglyph etched in the sand on a hill in the middle of the reserve. Enjoy some included snacks and drinks on the boat before having the opportunity to purchase some typical Peruvian dishes back at the port. While everything is good, the ceviche (fresh fish cured with citrus juice and marinated in a variety of local ingredients) is not to be missed. The tour concludes around 2pm back at the port of Paracas.
