Jungle tour Tio Boto 3 day tour

Itinerary

Day 1: On the river in a dug-out canoe for about 3.5 hours to Tio Boto resort

Stop At: Pokigron, Suriname
Your boat awaits you at this busy boat station on the Suriname river.
For about 2.5 hours the boat trip takes you to Tio Boto
Duration: 15 minutes

Meals included:
• Lunch: Coffee, tea and water
• Dinner: Coffee, tea and water
Accommodation included: Overnight in beds in a jungle lodge with shared bathroom and restroom

Day 2: Village and jungle walk. Visit the Tapawatra sula. Evening Cayman spotting

Stop At: Djumu, Suriname
Under the guidance of a (local) guide
you walk through the village and undertake an extensive forest walk. You will receive
information about the flora and fauna around you and its medicinal uses. You can take a
hike to the Pineapple Mountains in about two hours walk through the jungle. On the 219
meter high mountain the wild pineapples (only in the season to see) stills grow. After
the intensive walk you will make a boat trip to the Tapawatra rapids, at the confluence
of the Gran and Piking Rio. Afterwards you will be treated with a tropical fruit picnic
Duration: 4 hours

Day 3: Tio boto resort

Stop At: Suriname, Suriname
After breakfast, you can relax at the resort and / or swim in the river. Then we leave again by canoe and bus to Paramaribo.
Duration: 5 hours
