About this activity
The best time to watch birds is early morning, the tour starts with the pick-up at your accomodation at 6am. The Caminho do Ouro is a old road, pavimented with stones and it is about 12km from the Paraty Center, it will be around 25 minutes drive, with private transport.
The tour guide is specialized for guiding birding tours. The Brazilian Rain Forest has lots of endemic species that are highly appreciated by birdwatchers all over the world. The area is we visit is abou 300m above the ocean level and it is a mix of forest and plantation, very rich in banana.
The tour last for about 5 hours, so you will be back to your accomodation by 11am.
