About this activity
Meet your guide at 9am at the bus station in Paraty. After a 40 minute drive you reach the trailhead and start hiking through the Atlantic Rainforest to Sono beach where you will have time for swimming before a delicious seafood lunch on the beach. After lunch the trail continues passing Antigos and Antiguinhos beaches - more chances for swimming - before finishing up at Ponta Negra Village at the end of the day. In total it´s about 3 hours of hiking with plenty of breaks.
In the evening there is dinner by candlelight at the beach restaurant to the sounds of the sea.
The next day you explore the area on jungle trails visiting Saco Bravo waterfall with its naturally formed infinity pool perched on the rocky coastline overlooking the sea (a 4 hour round trip hike). There is no better way to cool off after a sweaty hike through the jungle!
This trip is suitable for active people and experienced hikers (moderate level of difficulty) wanting to get off the beaten track and explore the beaches and Rainforest near Paraty
