The four day trip was informative. The guide Pascal gave a great historical perspective on the Normandy coast the Mont Saint Michelle monument and the Loier Valley. The bus was comfortable. The hotels were rated as 3 star? They were ok. The hotels were meant to be in the ares we were touring and obviously were not picked for their great comfort and food. That being said the breakfasts at the hotels were good. The dinners were not. We asked for vegetarian or at most fish meals but were given beef.

The tour of Normandy is a little disappointing unless you are really into history and want to know about WW 2. There is nothing interesting happening in the first 2 days. The Loire valley castle tour gets more interesting and the castles are lovely. Drive is scenic. The other drawback is that the day is kept toooo long starting with 7 am and ending with 7 pm check into the hotels. After which since dinner is included so we have to all gather quickly in half hour for dinner. Now if you enjoy constant company then you will be fine but if looking for some downtime, this tour doesn't give you any. The tour guide was average and talked a little too much. I was breaking away from the group all the time since I couldn't listen to detailed history about every brick and painting!!

Great tour, great guide Pascal who really knew her stuff. Very efficient use of our time that combined group experiences with time to explore on our own. My only complaint was that the food especially at the first hotel was so-so at best. The hotels were fine--clean and comfortable.

My wife and I had a great time on our four day tour. The guide was very knowledgable and the food, hotels and van were excellent.

An excellent way to see the local, rural countryside of western France. Our drive Nico, and guide Roberto were super. Both of them were very professional and competent in their jobs. The information provided could not have been found on a website regarding the sites and places we visited. A bit challenging at times with a mixture of languages being presented, but with an additional guide on board to handle Spanish and French, our English speaking tour was enjoyable. We could not have possibly seen or experienced what we did on our own. Would highly recommend this trip or portions of it , if you wish to see Normandy and the Loire Valley.
