Stop At: Boulevard St. Germain, Paris France

Beginning at the Arc de Triomphe, and gothic quads of the Louvre, we will head to the Left Bank, seeking the medieval streets of Aquinas, and haunts that bred the French Revolution, beginning with the Procope. And then on to a drink at Cafe Margot, or de Flore, we will imagine the life of Sartre and de Beauvoir, and perhaps contemplate existence, before losing ourselves among the books (and ghosts!) of Shakespeare & Co, and ruins of Notre Dame.

Duration: 1 hour

Our tour guide, CJ, took us on a journey from Voltaire to Hemingway and every important writer in between. We saw the local haunts of the “Lost Generation”, sat where Simone de Bouvour crafted her writing, and learned the history behind literary legends. Debating philosophy with CJ was pure joy as we strolled through the Luxembourg Gardens and saw the most incredible bookstore. Loved every minute of it - thank you CJ!
