Pass By: Ile de la Cite, Paris, Ile-de-France

Start your afternoon in front of the spectacular Notre Dame Cathedral, where your expert local guide will meet you and your small group as you set off for your 3h15’ tour of the delightful Ile de la Cité. The birthplace of Paris, this tiny island on the Seine is home to pretty parks and squares, charming streets with wonderful river views, imposing medieval structures and soaring gothic architecture.

Stop At: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, Paris, Ile-de-France

Your first visit will be to the 850 year old Cathedral of Notre Dame. This gothic masterpiece is home to some of the largest rose windows in Europe, and also houses the relics of Christ’s crown of thorns. Your guide will lead you through the cathedral, pointing these out to you whilst revealing to you the stories of its construction, and those of the colorful characters that make up its history, including of course the famous Hunchback!

Stop At: Tours de la Cathedrale Notre-Dame, Paris, Ile-de-France

Enjoy guaranteed, pre-reserved entry to the iconic bell towers of Notre Dame Cathedral. Skip the lines and climb the famous towers, see Quasimodo’s bell, and enjoy a birds-eye view of Paris, in the company of the iconic gargoyles!

Stop At: Conciergerie, Paris, Ile-de-France

You’ll also visit the Conciergerie, once a medieval palace, later a notorious revolutionary prison, and final home to Queen Marie Antoinette before she was taken to the guillotine. Your visit here will allow you a better understanding of the turmoil during this period in French history, as you learn of the prisoners kept here and see the conditions in which they lived.

Stop At: Sainte-Chapelle, Paris, Ile-de-France

Your guide will then take you to the gem of gothic architecture, the spectacular Sainte Chapelle. Built in the 13th century to house the holy relics brought to France by the King Saint Louis, this tiny church is home to some of the most dazzling stained glass in the world. Skip the often long lines and marvel at the glorious colors of the windows, as your guide helps you read the fascinating stories laid out on them.

Stop At: Seine River, Paris, Ile-de-France

After your tour enjoy some free time on the island. You may choose to cross the river to the Latin Quarter and discover Shakespeare and Company, famous bookstore and literary meeting place, or to stroll along the lovely streets of the neighbouring island, the Ile St Louis, famous for its beautiful mansion houses and charming village atmosphere. Don’t miss out on some of the best ice cream in the city, also sold on this lovely island!
It’s then time to board your boat for a cruise down the river Seine, past some of the most famous and iconic buildings of the city laid out along the UNESCO listed World Heritage river banks. Drift past the Orsay museum, the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens and the Concorde Square, under some of the most beautiful bridges in the city.

Stop At: Eiffel Tower, Paris, Ile-de-France

Your boat takes you to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, where your guide is waiting to whisk you past the long lines and up to the summit, from where you will enjoy spectacular views across the city. It’s the perfect way to end an afternoon of discoveries.
Please note: Eiffel Tower visit times will vary depending on the reservation times. Your tour may last into the evening with a longer break for you to have dinner before the Eiffel Tower visit.
