Stop At: Louvre Museum, 99 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France
On this full day tour of Paris, you will gain an understanding of how Paris used its cultural riches to help France become a European superpower. You’ll explore the Louvre and its art, Notre Dame island and its royal palaces and cathedrals and then take an evening cruise along the Seine to view the iron clad beauty of the Eiffel tower.
The Louvre is the starting point for this tour. Overflowing with cultural treasures such as the Mona Lisa it has lines stretching for miles. This tour allows you to bypass all those people and get instant access. Inside your guide will steer you through the rooms of this redesigned royal palace to gaze at the sensational artworks which make up the highlights of the collection.
Leaving the Louvre, you’ll have time to explore the bohemian center of Paris, the Latin Quarter where Hemingway and the artists of Europe liked to lunch.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Ile de la Cite, 75001 Paris France
Notre Dame Island, or Île de la Cité as it is known, is your exploration ground for the afternoon. This river crossing was where Paris really took off. Home to the royal palaces of the aristocrats, it was also the place where the numbers of the aristocracy were decimated by the guillotine. The historic buildings here, like Notre Dame Cathedral*, symbolize the spirit of France. Despite wars, revolutions, and fires these buildings continue to survive.
*Please note that the streets around the Cathedral are closed until further notice. Therefore, we won’t be able to access the square in front of Notre Dame and see the 0km point. However, your guide will ensure to take you through alternative routes so you can get as close as possible to the Cathedral.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Seine River, 75001 Paris France
After all the walking, you’ll be given your tickets and helped aboard a waiting boat to float down the Seine. There is nothing that sums up a trip to Paris as watching the Eiffel Tower come into view through the evening light. The perfect end to a full day unpacking the gem that is Paris.

We started with Catherine (at her mid 50s) who led the Louvre tour. She was rather panic and stressed up throughout the tour. She was quiet as we walk through the Louvre and only speaks when she stops at certain paintings or sculptures that she wanted us to know. Unlike other tour guide they will engage us throughout the tour and talk to us as we walk along to make the tour so insightful. This is totally a waste of money and time. It is better to get an audio guide if you were to get such a poorly trained tour guide and especially pay so much for it. Moreover, after the Louvre tour, we barely have time for lunch and have to RUN to the next point for Notre Dame tour. The time in btw these two sessions were too tide. There were two elderly participants couldn't catch up and have to give it a missed. The rejoined us for the Seine River Cruise. Another two middle age ladies also couldn't have enough time to rejoin the group but luckily they were able to find us in the middle of the Nortre Dame Tour. On the contrary, in the afternoon, Notre Dame was guided by Helen. She was amazing, not only she was insightful, fun and resourceful (pointed us to some really nice French cuisine) she was also helpful and cheerful. After the tour, I know so much about France history and it makes the trip so meaningful. How I wish to get her to be the Louvre's tour guide. Seine River Cruise is an unguided tour. It was quite unhelpful as I we left waiting for the cruise and worse is that we were asked to leave the boat and wait for the next trip back which was a long 30mins wait. Some of our peers in the our who couldn't wait for the next boat ride eventually decided to return home with taxi. In summary, if I were to turn back time, I would not take this combine tour. I will take a full day tour at the Louvre so I can tour the Louvre myself with an audio-guided tour so I can enjoy it myself and spend a whole day there. Notre Dame was only good because of a good tour guide but not the Seine River. So it would be much cheaper to do a seperate tour as the Seine River tour you can get it as Euro16 if you were to purchase it on the spot and you can wait till the sunset so you can enjoy the beautiful Paris night view. Unlike this package tour where they 'force' you to take the 5.45pm tour (which we find that we also don't have much time for dinner) which the sun is still up in Summer.
Not the greatest tour. Our guide for the Louvre took us to his favorites and talked endlessly about 8 or 9 different artworks in the 2 hours we were there. Get your own tickets and do an audio tour on your own. The Notre Dame portion much better, guide was very engaging and the tour was wonderful. The Seine Cruise was a joke, took forever to find the place to board as the directions were vague at best. Be advised that it is not a round trip, they took us to the Eiffel Tower and kicked us off the boat. There is another tour boat company you will find on the Pont Neuf bridge by the Statue that gives nice tours for only 12 Euros and they actually bring you back to where you boarded.
Our tour guide for the Louvre was so perfect for this art tour! She was very expressive and engaging. Our guide for Notre Dame was great too! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Good Tour. Avi our guide for the Norte Dame was amazing and had great information to share. Best part of tour. Cruise was nice. However, our guide for the Louvre was a bit rude and rushed us through the museum.
There are no words to describe our experience touring the Louvre. Of course, the museum itself is amazing. Our tour guide, however, took the experience to another level. Marouane, a Paris native, was the best, most interesting, knowledgeable tour guide ever! The time flew by as he gave us information about the history of the Louvre, the sculptures, paintings, and other relevant information. Oh, to have had such a teacher in school! He was absolutely amazing, not to mention, personable and kind to all of us. He showed the utmost respect as he discussed the religious aspect of the art, and that was not lost on us. He is a gem. We'll never forget that beautiful and special experience. Our tour of Notre Dame Cathedral was also wonderful and interesting. Lee did a good job of passing on information about the history and the art in that amazing church. The river cruise was short, but lovely. I highly recommend this tour.
Saw so much with this tour! Very nice.
