Pass By: Bateaux-Mouches, Port de la Conférence, 75008 Paris, France

Located at the foot of the Zouave statue at Paris’ Pont de l’Alma bridge, Bateaux Mouches takes its name from the Mouche neighbourhood in Lyon.

Pass By: Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris France

A royal square designed by architect Gabriel in the 18th century. In 1792, this square was home to a guillotine that took thousands of victims’ lives. In 1836, King Louis Philippe installed the obelisk, a gift from Egypt.

Pass By: Louvre Museum, 99 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France

Constructed as a stronghold in the 13th century, it went on to become the French royal residence and was transformed into a museum in 1793. Today, it displays over 35,000 words of art (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo...).

Since 1989, visitors enter through the glass pyramid, designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei.

Pass By: Place de l'Hotel de Ville, 75004 Paris France

The neo-renaissance style Hôtel de Ville in Paris was rebuilt in the 19th century after being burnt down during the Commune rule of 1871. Today, it serves as the Paris City Hall.

Pass By: Conciergerie, 2 boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris France

What remains of the palace of the first kings of France, the Conciergerie became a prison during the French Revolution.

Pass By: Ile de la Cite, 75001 Paris France

The ‘cradle’ of the city of Paris where its very first inhabitants (the Parisii) settled in the 3rd century BC.

Pass By: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, 6 Parvis Notre-Dame Place Jean-Paul II, 75004 Paris France

A jewel of Gothic architecture.

Beginning in 1163, construction wasn’t completed until 1350. It was celebrated by Victor Hugo in his famous novel, ‘The Hunchback of Notre-Dame’. We owe the restoration to architect Viollet-Le-Duc who undertook this project in the 19th century.

Pass By: Ile Saint-Louis, 44 rue Saint Louis en L Ile, 75004 Paris France

Formerly the île aux vaches (cow’s island), here you’ll find the most beautiful 16th and 17th century houses, constructed for the most part by architect Le Vau.

Pass By: Pont-Neuf, Ile de la Cite, 75001 Paris France

The oldest stone bridge in Paris, it was opened in 1606. At its centre, you can see the equestrian statue of King Henri IV, nicknamed Vert Galant (The Green Gallant) because of his many female conquests.

Pass By: Musee d'Orsay, 1 Rue De La Legion d'Honneur, 75007 Paris France

With its façade hinting at its past life as a railway station, constructed in 1900, it today serves as a museum displaying masterpieces of the 19th century, and more precisely, the work of the Impressionists.

Pass By: Esplanade des Invalides, 129 rue de Grenelle Les Invalides, 75007 Paris France

It was easy to locate and we didn't have to queue. We were lucky that it left as soon as we arrived. The tour was supposed to be an hour long but we were back before that. Toilets need to be cleaned more often.

This is a good way to see Paris from the river. Because you don't have a personal headsets, the information is given via a speaker... some of the people were so loud, you couldn't hear what was being said. Cool way to see Paris but definitely could take it or leave it.

We really enjoyed this excursion and the price was fantastic for what we received. Close by metro to access and we sat right at the front of the boat on the left side (first floor; open air view-because everyone was rushing to the upper deck). No obstructed views and took a great deal of pictures that will last for a lifetime of our honeymoon. Boat started eastward down the river towards the Louvre and wrapped around both sides of Notre Dame, the final big point of interest was the Eiffel Tower before heading back to port. Great way to take an hour of your feet from all the walking, and I encourage everyone to sit where we did as on the left side (port side) of the boat you will see all the big sites from the best angles for photos. Enjoy Paris!!

I booked this tour as a birthday present for my boyfriend and we both loved it. The boat was very big and had both indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend going later in the evening as you are able to see the lights of Paris and experience the Eiffel Tower at night. The only negative was the tour guide voice was pre recorded and the English version wasn’t very clear,

This is a nice cruise. The pier was easy to find and it took only minutes to get through the security. The boat was clean and the tour was easy to hear. Nice way to spend about an hour in the afternoon.

The seating is very crowded so it was very difficult to see at times with other passengers standing up and taking a huge number of photos. Also no shade upstairs so out came the umbrellas which created further space issues. On a positive the ticketing and boarding system was efficient!

We took the one hour Sparkling Cruise with champagne option and were not disappointed! We were greeted with a handy bag with 2 Mini Moet Chandons, splits, ready for us to take aboard and enjoy our cruise in style! It was a wonderful cruise with beautiful weather and narrated to tell us about the iconic things we were seeing along the beautiful Seine River. Would definitely do it again, and always with champagne!

You can admire Paris from the river but just the monuments and buildings close to the river, it is nice and relaxing but not very engaging, there's is someone describing the attractions but if you are on the top opening part of the ship you cannot actually hear very well the entire description. If you have the time do it but you might be better off with other excursions.

This was great, definitely recommend picking a time where you can see the sunset. We went went the champagne option, and it was worth it!

This was the perfect way to start our trip to Paris. The boat ride is not to long, but gives you a beautiful overview of the city. Go at sunset and see the city change from day to night while you are on the ride! We were able to see and hear about the most famous parts of Paris, and to see them come to life with lights was breathtaking. The information could have been a little more detailed, but, for us, it put the city into perspective for us, so we were ready to explore each place during the trip. It was also a very romantic way to view this beautiful city.

I'm glad we did this tour, but it was loud and crowded and you couldn't hear any of the information being given.
