Stop At: Esplanade des Invalides, 129 rue de Grenelle Les Invalides, 75007 Paris France

We'll start our walk with a view of the Invalides Gold Domed Church, the final resting place of the Emperor Napoleon and the first building stormed on the 14th July 1789.

Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: Assemblee Nationale, 33 quai D Orsay, 75007 Paris France

Next we pass the Bourbon Palace which since 1798 has housed the National Assembly, a body created by the Revolution.

Stop At: Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris France

1119 heads fell here during a 10 month period during the Revolution, including the King and Marie-Antoinette.

Stop At: Jardin des Tuileries pl. de la Concorde, rue de Rivoli, 75058 Paris France

These typically French gardens once belonged to the palace where Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, and later Napoleon, lived and ruled from.

Pass By: Louvre Museum, 99 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France

We'll next walk through the courtyards of the Louvre, a palace turned into a museum by the Revolutionaries in 1793

Stop At: Pont-Neuf, Ile de la Cite, 75001 Paris France

Paris's oldest bridge with a view of the palace in which Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned during the last 2 months before the guillotine.

Stop At: Cour du Commerce Saint Andre, Boulevard Saint Germain and, Paris France

A wonderful little street on the edge of the Latin Quarter which packs in plenty of stories of the French Revolution and Paris's oldest café. The perfect place to discuss the legacy of the Revolution.
