Your guide will secure tickets for the group and enter the tower for a ride to the 2nd level. From the ground and throughout your visit you will learn about Gustave Eiffel: The Young Engineer, The Entrepreneur, The Great Builder, and Life After The Tower along with the history of Paris during your "Tour From The Sky".

Before you know it you have reached the second level where you will take a walk around the tower and hear little-known fun facts about the tower's original color, twinkling lights and individuals who made history with their daredevil stunts.

Upon arrival at the second level take in the magnificent views of all the sights surrounding you. Get a birds’ eye tour of Paris with your feet far from the ground as your guide tells you about monuments and districts such as Montparnasse, Les Invalides, the Sacre-Coeur, Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées.

After the guided portion of your tour, and if you have purchased the Summit Access option, you will take a lift from the 2nd level up to the summit. Once there, see Gustave Eiffel’s office, restored to its original condition along with panoramic maps. Go to the Champagne Bar and treat yourself to some bubbles in the sky. When you are ready, simply take the elevator back down to the first floor or to street level and continue with your day!

I booked this group tour on a recent visit to Paris and am glad I did. This booking allowed access to the summit of the tower and let us skip the long lines to get in. Our guide was very informative and efficient in getting us onto the tower and up to the second level from where we were allowed summit access on our own. The Eiffel Tower is an engineering marvel and this tour is both informative and fun. The views from the top are amazing, though photos from the second level show much more of Paris. There are restrooms on the second level as well as places to eat and a gift shop. The lower level has places to eat, restrooms, and gift shops. All in all I would definitely recommend this tour of the Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower is a must-see for your first visit to Paris but this "tour" isn't worthwhile. First, once you get inside the first layer of security, the tour guides were disorganized. There some confusion about where to go and how to get in line. Next, the tour guide began sharing facts while we waited in line, but not everyone was there. Because we were in line for tickets for more than an hour, people left to buy water or use the bathroom and missed significant parts of the tour. Third, the tour guide failed to buy enough tickets. We made it all the way to the second security check before he realized. Then, we had to wait while he went back to the ticket counter and bought additional tickets. Fourth, the guide used some language that was fine for me but definitely not appropriate for younger kids in the group. Finally, it was nearly impossible to hear at many points. I understand that a guide can't yell the entire time but it was hard to hear most of the tour. All in all, I wish we had not paid for this particular tour.

Our tour was stupendous. Kamila our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun. We were late do to traffic and the Viator coordinator was more than helpful getting us on a later later tour. I can not say enough wonderful things about Kamila and Viator and their staff.
