NIce 1/2 day tour in Paris. I would recommend it if you want a guided tour of Norte Dame, rather than trying to take your own audio tour or simply just trying to do it yourself. The small group was intimate and not rushed. You had plenty of time to enjoy Notre Dame and the added value was that you learned a good bit about the neighborhoods surrounding the Sorbonne and the Latin Quarter in general. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour of the cathedral was enlightening, though we sometimes feared losing our guide in the crowds. It was nice to see the site of so much history--and even to learn that Notre Dame had not been as historically significant as most of us believe. The Batobus river tour was great: we rode it around the whole circuit and saw many onshore marvels, houseboats, moored restaurants, and other river traffic.
This tour was amazing!
Our guide was very interesting. She even had to deal with a change in plans at Notre Dame Cathedral. When we arrived, they had temporarily had closed the area and so she quickly made some calls and off we went. We were able to get inside later in the tour and she gave a really in depth description of the cathedral, which was great I have been 3 times before and still heard something new!.
could have been a 5 star, but the guide handled the English tour with 2 French visitors. He spoke English, but then also did the French narration. This seemed to interrupt the flow of information, and we only felt like we got half of the narration.
